Life is a paradox whatever you want - you dont get,
Whatever you get - you don''t enjoy,
Whatever you enjoy - is not permanent and
Whatever is permanent - is boring
Life is a series of experiences,
each one of which makes us bigger,
even though it is hard to realize this.
For the world was built to develop character,
and we must learn that the setbacks
and grieves which we endure help us
in our marching onward.
Respect the past in the full measure of its desserts, but do not make the mistake of confusing it with the present nor seek in it the ideals of the future.
