Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from the inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves.
We are told that people stay in love because of chemistry,
or because they remain intrigued with each other,
because of many kindnesses, because of luck.
But part of it has got to be forgiveness and gratefulness.“
