Be more concerned with your character
than your reputation,
because your character is what you really are,
while your reputation
is merely what others think you are.
The art of living does not consist
in preserving and clinging
to a particular mood of happiness,
but in allowing happiness
to change its form without
being disappointed by the change;
for happiness, like a child,
must be allowed to grow up.
Laws alone can not secure freedom of expression; in order that every man present his views without penalty, there must be spirit of tolerance in the entire population.
Without faith, hope and trust there is not promise for the future
and without a promising future, life has no direction, no meaning
and no justification.
